At the time before 20th century, transportation of sea was an important way for connecting large part of Asian area. Usually the sea route is not possible to cut by any powers of land. Therefore it easy to feel that in anywhere the water of sea is joining with each other. Because this natural condition, if watch in total maritime history, we can understand a global cultures in Asia without border of nations or ethnicities. Especially, we want to see by material evidences for Asian maritime history due to limitation of records before European coming. For such purpose, understanding of maritime history, in this course will be taught outline of Asian ceramic trade history by 3 steps; basic knowledge of trade ceramic except Chinese ware, total chronological change (time), and special topics.
